The Parole Rotary is pleased to have not 1 but 2 exchange students for the 2023-2024 school year.  Both students will be attending Broadneck High School in Annapolis.  Cristobal is from Chile and is currently being hosted by a family that lives at Naval Station Annapolis.  With three boys in that family, he will surely have someone with whom to enjoy his love of soccer.  Viktor is from Sweden and plays tennis.  He quickly learned to play Pickleball with a neighborhood team and is playing in an upcoming tournament.   His host family has grown sons who do not live at home.  However, they sponsor a student at the U.S. Naval Academy who visits on weekends.

Other District Rotary Clubs are also sponsoring students and Parole Rotary has been instrumental in getting all the International students together from time to time.  The Annapolis Rotary Club is sponsoring Lena, from Switzerland,  who attends Annapolis High School.  For the first time, the South County Rotary Club is sponsoring Franscesca from Italy.  The fifth student is Maximo from Paraguay, is attending a high school in Ellicott City.  The four Rotary clubs will be sponsoring events throughout the year to expand the students' experiences in and around Annapolis.  It should be an exciting year for both the students and Rotarians!

We help park cars

We “park cars” during Navy home football games. We direct traffic to ensure the safety and organized and efficient parking of cars. The money we raise from this effort gives us funds to donate to nonprofits in our community. In 2022, we donated $50,000 to twenty-one nonprofits who are #makingadifference.

We love books!

BIG (Books for International Goodwill) was originally created by the Parole Rotary Club of Annapolis and still receives our support today. The hunger for books staggers the imagination. We want to provide the inspiration to all in our local communities to underserved communities around the world.
