GRANT APPLICATION AND GUIDELINES
The Parole Rotary Foundation is pleased to consider grant request from local nonprofit organizations. To qualify, the recipient entity must be a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Foundation was established by the Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) to support civic and educational programs which focus on the needs of our local community. In light of the Club's vision; “We will make a Positive difference for youth today, so they will make a difference tomorrow,” particular emphasis is given to youth programs. The Foundation is primarily funded by the Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) through member donations and the club's fundraising activities. Applications can be found at www.parole-rotary.org under Grants. Please submit all grant applications no later than January 31, 2010 for consideration within the current Rotary fiscal year which ends June 30, 2010. Grant requests should have impact with clear needs and objectives. Additional consideration is given to grant requests that may allow for members of the Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) to become involved beyond a monetary grant, include broad range of Club talents needed, bite size tasks, sustainable program with multiple entry points and the potential for growth. The guidelines are not intended to exclude any worthy projects and all applications will be considered. Please, only one application per organization in a twelve (12) month period of time will be considered.
Highly Considered Programs include:
- Programs that are located in Anne Arundel County, especially the Annapolis Area;
- Programs that meet a critical community need;
- Programs that identify a specific need as opposed to providing for operating funds;
- Programs that have matching fund sponsors;
- Programs with low administrative and operating cost ratios.
