B.I.G.'s PURPOSE
B.I.G. collects used books donated by school systems, libraries, and individuals, and sorts and packs them for shipping to schools in developing countires. B.I.G.'s motto is: Spreading Literacy by Keeping Books Alive

Celebrating the 4 millionth book being sent since the projects inception
VISION
B.I.G. will be the provider-of-choice in the Annapolis area of services to: receive books being discarded by current owners; identify requirements for books by groups both domestic and international which have limited resources for acquiring books; sort and pack shipments based on requirements; raise funds to support these shipments; and ultimately to ship to needy groups for delivery to end users. B.I.G. will hold periodic book sales to provide revenue to meet operating expenses.
ORGANIZATION
B.I.G. was created by the Parole Rotary Club, which continues to be its prime financial and volunteer supporter. The B.I.G.
